This course will prepare you for employment in a first responder job or volunteer role. In 2021 look for ELFF (Entry Level Firefighter) and in 2022 entry level police training. Girls will attend classes at Madison College during the weekday and high school age girls will spend weeknight overnights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night) with us at Camp Brandenburg (Hawk’s Nest). Young women that are 18-21 years old will have the ability to go home at 5pm and report back to class at 8am each weekday (Monday through Friday) for two weeks.
Event Notes: Fees for this session will cover tuition costs for the Madison College class. Students will also be assigned an academy uniform (t-shirt) that should be worn while at Madison College (laundry will be available at Brandenburg if needed). All students will receive a CampHERO t-shirt and CampHERO patch with their registration. High school age girls that wish to stay with us over the weekend, may do so at an additional fee to cover food, transportation, personnel and laundry services ($130) and they will be asked to help out at the Saturday session of CampHERO for 3rd & 4th graders. Join us for this unique opportunity offered only through CampHERO.
