Description: CampHERO is all about building a girls courage, confidence and character. She will build her confidence by using a fire extinguisher, strapping a patient to a backboard, and learning how to chase down a villain. We focus on courage by teaching ways to use your voice assertively, trying new skills and asking girls to push their comfort zone. Girls learn about character by working together as a team, experiencing what it’s like to be a HERO protecting your community and exploring what it takes to be a police officer, firefighter, or EMT/paramedic. Join us for this one night event designed to spark an interest in a protective services career.
Event Notes: This is a girl-only event. All girls and adults MUST wear closed toe shoes and long pants to this event. All girls will receive a t-shirt and CampHERO patch with their registration. We will be gathering basic emergency information through our chosen vendor, CampDoc. You will receive a link to complete this information after registration.
