Description: This one day session of CampHERO is focused on teaching girls how to be confident, independent and step into the shoes of a police officer, firefighter and EMT/Paramedic. Girls will learn what it’s like to be a real life HERO through activities like fingerprinting, handcuffing, putting out “fires”, trying on firefighting gear, doing search and rescue and learning basic first aid skills. Your girl will come away with a new sense of adventure and an appreciation for the women and men that protect our communities.
Event Notes: This is a girl-only event. All girls and adults must wear closed toe shoes and long pants to this event. Girls need to bring a sack lunch to eat. All girls will receive a t-shirt and CampHERO patch with their registration. Both sessions offered will be exactly alike, sign up for only one per girl. We will be gathering basic emergency information through our chosen vendor, CampDoc. You will receive a link to complete this information after registration.
